Our journey began with a family's own experience of the transplant journey. During the COVID-19 period in November 2020, a 9-month-old child in the family underwent a liver transplant. The transplant saved a life, but the experience also revealed another difficult reality: the financial burden of lifelong post-transplant care.
Regular blood tests, liver-function monitoring, tacrolimus levels, medicines and other investigations can become a major recurring expense. For families already dealing with the cost of a transplant, these ongoing needs can be overwhelming.
That experience became the inspiration for Dityaa Lifecare Foundation. We started with a simple mission: help transplant patients access essential post-transplant medical tests at more affordable, subsidized rates and stand with families through the journey beyond transplant.

Dityaa Lifecare Foundation was born from firsthand experience with the financial and emotional challenges that families face after an organ transplant. What began as one family's struggle became a commitment to help other transplant patients access the monitoring and care they need.
